The Orchard by Ra Ra Riot
The Orchard is an album by Ra Ra Riot, released in 2010. 2 songs from it have charted on rock radio countdowns, with 11 countdown appearances in total. The biggest is “Boy”, on 7 lists with a best position of #48.
The Orchard, Ra Ra Riot's second album, came out on Barsuk in 2010, following The Rhumb Line, and it's indie pop dressed up in its Sunday best: baroque arrangements, sighing melodies and a fondness for the grand gesture that stays just this side of overwrought.
"Boy" was the hook that caught people. When it went on sale through iTunes in October 2010, it got as high as 152 on the store's chart and made number 34 on Billboard's Rock Digital chart, and it and "Too Dramatic" became the album's calling cards on the countdowns.
