Guns Babes Lemonade by Muscles
Guns Babes Lemonade is an album by Muscles, released in 2007. 3 songs from it have charted on rock radio countdowns, with 3 countdown appearances in total. The biggest is “Ice Cream”, on 1 list with a best position of #14.
Guns Babes Lemonade, the debut album from Chris Copulos, the Australian electronica kid who records as Muscles, came out on Modular on 29 September 2007, with the US getting it that October and the UK and Europe waiting until April 2008. It went in at No. 14 on the ARIA Albums Chart and topped the Dance Album Chart in its first week.
The record is pure sugar-rush electro-pop: bratty, bouncy synths, a party-hard grin and hooks you can't shake. "Ice Cream" is the giddy centerpiece, sturdy enough to survive being stripped down to a live acoustic version for Triple J, and "Sweaty" keeps the dancefloor heat turned up.
