Patience by Mannequin Pussy
Patience is an album by Mannequin Pussy, released in 2019. 1 song from it has charted on rock radio countdowns, with 1 countdown appearance in total. The biggest is “Drunk II”, on 1 list with a best position of #471.
Patience, Mannequin Pussy's third album, landed on Epitaph in June 2019, three years after Romantic, and it's the sound of the Philadelphia punks getting bigger without getting any softer. Will Yip, whose credits run to Code Orange and Turnover, produced it, and he gives the band's swings between bruised tenderness and full-throated fury plenty of room to land.
Critics fell hard. It sits at 85 on Metacritic, Pitchfork's Quinn Moreland counted it among the year's best punk rock records, and in 2026 Rolling Stone slotted it at 42 on its list of the 100 greatest punk albums ever made. The band followed it with the Perfect EP in 2021 and I Got Heaven in 2024.
