Walking Under Stars by Hilltop Hoods
Walking Under Stars is an album by Hilltop Hoods, released in 2014. 3 songs from it have charted on rock radio countdowns, with 5 countdown appearances in total. The biggest is “Cosby Sweater”, on 3 lists with a best position of #3.
Walking Under Stars, the seventh studio album from Adelaide's Hilltop Hoods, came out on Golden Era Records on 8 August 2014 and topped the ARIA albums chart. Founders Suffa and Pressure, who started the crew back in 1994, and DJ Debris sound like veterans at the peak of their powers, and the record works as a companion piece to Drinking from the Sun: the two would later be reworked together on a single restrung album.
This is big, cinematic Aussie hip-hop, booming drums and swelling hooks built for festival fields, and "Cosby Sweater" is the knockout, a cocky, bass-heavy banger that went top 5 on the ARIA singles chart. The album was up for Australian Album of the Year at the J Awards and took Best Urban Album at the ARIA Awards, the group's seventh ARIA trophy.
