Unden!able by HELLYEAH

Unden!able, HELLYEAH's fifth studio album, arrived on Eleven Seven Music on June 3, 2016, with Kevin Churko producing, and it carries a weight nobody could have guessed at the time: it was the last studio album the Dallas supergroup released while founding drummer Vinnie Paul was alive. He died in 2018. Here he's still pounding away behind Chad Gray's roar, with Tom Maxwell on guitar and Kyle Sanders on bass.

The most talked-about track is a cover of Phil Collins' "I Don't Care Anymore", and it's more than a novelty: it carries guitar parts from the late Pantera guitarist Dimebag Darrell, in whose backyard studio the band had cut its first album a decade earlier. Elsewhere it's meaty, down-tuned heavy metal with the gloves off, and "Love Falls" was the one that stuck with rock radio.
