Keep Your Eyes Ahead, released on January 29, 2008 by Sub Pop, is the fourth album from Portland's Helio Sequence, the follow-up to Love and Distance. With Brandon Summers at its core, the record has a big-hearted, widescreen indie rock sound, guitars ringing out and melodies reaching for the rafters.
There's a playful streak too: "You Can Come to Me" borrows sound effects from Super Mario Bros. 3. The album climbed to number 22 on Billboard's Heatseekers chart, and it led on to Negotiations.
