I’m No Angel by Gregg Allman Band

I'm No Angel is the fourth studio album from the Gregg Allman Band, the outfit Allman led whenever he stepped away from the Allman Brothers Band without going it entirely alone. It came out on Epic with Rodney Mills producing, following Two the Hard Way.

The title track is the reason people still talk about it: a Southern rock tune with Allman's weathered voice all over it, sturdy enough that other singers picked it up later, his former wife Cher among them. Just Before the Bullets Fly came next.
