STRENGTH IN NUMB333RS, the first full-length from Fever 333, dropped on Roadrunner on January 18, 2019, with John Feldmann and Travis Barker behind the board. The band had announced it the previous November alongside the video for "Burn It", and it arrived as a rap-metal record with a political hip-hop spine: loud, furious and restless.
Jason Aalon Butler, who started the band in 2017 with guitarist Stephen Harrison and drummer Aric Improta, barks and preaches like he's leading a march down Main Street, Harrison's riffs slam and grind, and Improta keeps the whole thing lurching forward. "One of Us" is the track that broke through to the countdowns. The critics went for it: Loudwire put it among the 50 best rock albums of 2019, and subscribers to 91 Suns voted it their album of the year.
