Horrorscope by Eve 6
Horrorscope is an album by Eve 6, released in 2000. 3 songs from it have charted on rock radio countdowns, with 23 countdown appearances in total. The biggest is “Promise”, on 14 lists with a best position of #29.
Horrorscope, Eve 6's second album, landed on RCA in July 2000 as the follow-up to their self-titled debut. They made it at NRG Recording Studios in North Hollywood, with Lit's A Place in the Sun as a touchstone.
It's bright, sharp-edged guitar rock with a pop-punk bounce: crunchy riffs, big sing-along hooks and a slightly sardonic grin, the sound of a band tightening every screw. "Promise" and "Here's to the Night" are the songs that held on longest.
