Kiss or Kill was the one and only album from Endeverafter, the Sacramento band Michael Grant started in 2004, and getting it out took some doing. They had recorded a debut called From the Ashes of Sin for Epic with producer Stacy Jones, and after label shuffles and slipping release dates at Sony, their first full-length finally surfaced as Kiss or Kill on Razor & Tie in October 2007. By then they had toured with Cinderella and Poison and opened for Kiss in Japan, and their hometown shows came with confetti and strobe lights, which tells you all you need to know about the aesthetic.
The music matches: glam metal with teased-up riffs, gang-shout choruses and sleaze delivered with a grin. "I Wanna Be Your Man" made it to #25 on Billboard's Mainstream Rock chart and into Guitar Hero On Tour: Modern Hits and Rock Band 2, while "No More Words" became wrestler Jeff Hardy's theme.
