No Control by Eddie Money
No Control is an album by Eddie Money, released in 1982. 2 songs from it have charted on rock radio countdowns, with 72 countdown appearances in total. The biggest is “Shakin'”, on 46 lists with a best position of #79.
No Control, Eddie Money's fourth studio album, came out on Wolfgang and Columbia on June 11, 1982, with Tom Dowd producing. Money was a working-class rocker through and through, and this record plays to it: big-hearted, meat-and-potatoes rock and roll with a voice that sounds like it's been shouting over bar noise for years.
"Shakin'" is the cheeky, strutting centerpiece and "Think I'm In Love" the sweet, punchy radio hook, and both became hits. The heaviest moment is "Passing By the Graveyard (Song for John B.)", his tribute to the actor and comedian John Belushi. The album went Platinum in 1987.
