Time & Pressure, released on May 7, 2013 through Fat Lady Music, is the first record from Devour the Day, the band Blake Allison and Joey "Chicago" Walser built out of the ruins of Egypt Central. When that group was declared finished in December 2012, with its singer and guitarist gone, the new project was announced in the same breath, in a letter Chicago posted to Egypt Central's Facebook page. Work on the album with producer Skidd Mills had got under way in 2012.
