A Different Kind of Fix is an album by Bombay Bicycle Club, released in 2011. 1 song from it has charted on rock radio countdowns, with 9 countdown appearances in total. The biggest is “Shuffle”, on 9 lists with a best position of #31.
A Different Kind of Fix, Bombay Bicycle Club's third album, came out on Island in the UK on 26 August 2011, with A&M Octone taking it to America the following January. Jim Abbiss produced this follow-up to Flaws, with Jack Steadman singing and playing guitar and piano, Jamie MacColl on guitar, Ed Nash on bass and Suren de Saram on drums.
It's restless, layered indie rock from an English band still stretching its reach, the guitars and keys stacked into shimmering loops rather than bashed out. "Shuffle" is the song that carried it furthest, and the band's next move was So Long, See You Tomorrow.
