OK ORCHESTRA by Ajr
OK ORCHESTRA is an album by Ajr, released in 2021. 1 song from it has charted on rock radio countdowns, with 5 countdown appearances in total. The biggest is “Bang!”, on 5 lists with a best position of #4.
OK Orchestra, AJR's fourth album, landed on March 26, 2021, through BMG and the brothers' own AJR Productions, and it's every bit as big and bright as the title promises. Ryan Met produced it himself, and he and his brothers Adam and Jack, the New York trio that got its start busking and singing covers around the city, pile orchestral flourishes and theatrical swerves onto pop songs that never sit still for long. Call it orchestral pop with a nervous grin.
Five singles came off it, "Bang!", "Bummerland", "My Play", "Way Less Sad" and "World's Smallest Violin", and "Bang!" gave them their first top-ten single on the Hot 100 plus a Billboard Music Award for Top Rock Song. The album itself cracked the top ten of the Billboard 200 and went gold.
